Main Purpose

The Deputy Maintenance Manager will provide support to the Project Manager to develop, manage and deliver various projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality expectations of FMM and the client management team. They will manage the dedicated team, assuring compliance with the technical requirements and customer satisfaction, supervising the work carried out by the teams, managing the KPI driven business.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for helping the actual project management team in QFZ to deliver functional goals, including operational uptime, compliance, financial and people development in all the projects under QFZ umbrella and the new ones assigned.
  • To take overall responsibility for the work of all personnel employed by the service provider and subcontracted for the execution of the contracts and providing them with the necessary materials and information to enable them to carry out their duties.
  • Realize pursuit of the satisfaction of the clients, solving possible incidents and detecting new business opportunities for the already employed services or for the new ones that may be required.
  • To attend periodic meetings with the clients’ representatives and/or their representatives to discuss and appraise the performance of the contract.
  • Support the current project team in the creation of new proposals for tender or organic growth.

Operational

  • Coordinate and monitor the performance of the team in charge and participating in professional development.
  • Ensure subcontractors are following the requirements
  • Responsible for implementing the maintenance procedures to be followed in accordance with the operating and maintenance manuals, the planned maintenance system and any other recommendations that become necessary over time.
  • Have the ability to lead technical root cause investigations and elaborate comprehensive technical reports.
  • Monitor & ensure compliance with the policies and regulations adopted by the organization in the management of the contract, in its scope of activity.

Qualification

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 10 years’ experience in FM services
  • Knowledge of MEP and HVAC systems.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Understanding of CAFM systems.
  • Understanding of design specifications and technical drawings.

 

Preferred

GCC experience.
